I had so much fun with this beautiful head of hair! Braids and Twists are so much fun to do but but I always encourage brides to go with a more classic look and have fun with a trendy style for the rehearsal dinner or bridal shower! Of course if you are going for a head to toe Boho look then there are no rules!
I was so lucky to get to work with Jenny for her beautiful Fall wedding in Pittsburgh. It was a gorgeous day captured by the super talented Graceful Fawn for Hot Metal Studios. Jenny's vision was a really natural down style to match her romantic dress but we enhanced her look with some clip in extensions.
As many of you may know my family took a huge leap of faith and moved back to my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa! I am so excited to be back and can't wait to dive into the Pittsburgh Wedding Scene! 2018 is booking up already, so make sure to get in touch ASAP!

When I got to Jacqueline's parents house the morning of her wedding I immediately fell in love. A fire was roaring, Father of the Bride on TV, and a group of girls that have known each other since grade school were gathered around. This was my last wedding of 2016, I was 9 months pregnant but I was so happy to be there! This was the 2nd wedding I have done with this group of girls and I hope I get to be there when every one of them walks down the aisle.
Jacqueline wanted one of my signature looks and it came out gorgeous! She does not have a thick head of hair, and even without any aid of hair extensions we got a full, beautiful look!
This couple came into NYC from Australia to get married, they were lovely to work with. Having never met them till that day we were emailing back and forth about the looks. Amanda wanted a classic 1920's inspired updo while Sheri wanted to use her natural curl for a polished textured updo. Don't worry city brides, I will still be available in NYC, but after finding a great farmhouse in Rhinebeck, NY my husband and I plan to spilt our weekend time. I have done many beautiful upstate weddings but with that came a long drive and travel costs. Looking forward to exploring more of the beautiful country side as a "local".
This bride and groom were very special to me. Mike was my husband's roommate in college and then lived with us the year we got married. Finding Mike a wife was a top priority after my wedding planning. I was lucky enough to find Lindsay for him through a coworker of mine. Getting Lindsay glam was a little nerve wracking, she has never had her hair done for an event and loved it. I think she just settled with the idea of putting her hair up and just dealing with it. Mike really wanted her to wear her hair down and I wanted to prove to her it could look great! It is so fun to make a bride feel beautiful, even more special when they are your friend!
We enhanced her hair with some extensions and gave her glamorous waves. She still refers to this as her "Courtney hair day" at times. See more great photos on their Style me Pretty feature: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2015/07/27/classic-elegant-new-york-city-wedding/
Margarita had gorgeous hair to begin with. She wore a beautiful Reem Acra dress that we complimented with soft waves. I love this style on my brides, simple beautiful hair paired with a gorgeous gown. Keri was such a beautiful bride I had the pleasure of working with last summer. I love the way her updo came out glamorous yet undone. We used extensions to get extra "umph" with her bun.
